Plot
Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to create "A Man On the Inside" after watching the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent", he says: "The Mole Agent" the documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar regardless of age, ethnicity or gender, and I would describe this feeling in a very reductive way as: “I have to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do a similar thing with the tone: Does our show contribute to that feeling of wanting to call our moms?.
How can you not appreciate Ted Danson
The guys are a legend, like Tom Sellecks mustache. Anyway, I found this show to be a boy for everything.
Especially in the later stages when things really matter for the right reasons
Some pretty funny lines, two very attractive female leads who never give up, and also a great message about the bonds that are formed in life. I also found this show to resonate with me as it touches on dementia.
I definitely recommend this series and I’m also looking forward to the next season
The recent loss of my father who battled this terrible disease simply made me feel more connected. However, as each episode progressed, I started to get more invested and found each character charming and endearing in their own unique way.
