An American couple brings their 10-year-old daughter Claire to her grandfather Lawrence’s hotel in the Dolomites, Italy. They usually come around Christmas, but this year it’s August. Thing is, they’re breaking up, and after Claire realizes there won’t be a family Christmas this year, she tells everyone it’s AD.
