Plot
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by the beetle juice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci share why they’ll never forget filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. Tim Burton has said that this film would only be made if Michael Keaton returned to reprise his role.

Fans of the original will likely be disappointed
The original Beetlejuice is legendary and I’m going to pretend this one doesn’t exist because seriously, it is. 🤔 The sequel just didn’t capture the magic of the original. It lacked the charm, wit and unique style that made the first film a classic. It felt like a cash grab rather than a real attempt to continue the story.
It’s a shame because there was so much potential
Hopefully, future projects will better live up to the legacy of Beetlejuice.
